ChiNext Index surges 11.41 pct at midday Monday

BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) — The ChiNext Index, tracking China’s Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, jumped 11.41 percent to 2,100.65 at the close of the morning session on Monday.
The ChiNext Index, together with the Shenzhen Component Index and other indices, reflects the performance of stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. ■
